Following its February announcement that it would acquire Air Hamburg, Dubai-based private aviation group Vista Global has now agreed to acquire North American charter operator Jet Edge, the company announced Thursday.

Terms of the deal, which is expected to close during the second quarter, were not disclosed.

Jet Edge CEO Bill Papariella will join Vista as chief business officer, and Jet Edge’s management team will remain in place, according to Vista.

The acquisition will provide Vista with about 100 additional aircraft, bringing its fleet to approximately 350 “at a time of unprecedented demand for business aviation services,” Vista founder and chairman Thomas Flohr said in a statement.

Vista previously purchased private jet service Apollo Jets in March 2021, Red Wing Aviation in 2020, JetSmarter in 2019 and XOJet, which it continues to operate as the brand XO, in 2018.
