JAKARTA, COMPASS.TV – DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan once issued Governor Instruction (Ingub) Number 77 of 2019 regarding support in preparing the implementation of Formula E activities in 2020.
In his instructions, Anies ordered the head of the Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency (Disspora) to pay the funding commitment fee Formula E without negotiating the price.

In the letter, Anies requested that the financing for the implementation of Formula E be charged to the Budget Implementation Document (DPA) of the Youth and Sport Bureau for the 2019 financial year.
“The financing of the support provision as referred to in the first operative part will be taken into account in the Amendment of the Regional Income and Expenditure Budget via the Youth and Sport Budget Implementation Document (AP) for the 2019 financial year in accordance with the provisions of the legislation,” wrote Anies. . Anies is known in the Ingub that he has not instructed the DKI Jakarta Dispora to renegotiate the amount to be spent on organizing Formula E, including commitment fee.

Anies issued the Ingub on August 27, 2019, or eight days after the Formula E implementation report letter was submitted by the DKI Jakarta Dispora.
Payment obligations are described in the DKI Jakarta Dispora report letter of August 15, 2019 commitment fee by DKI Jakarta for five years of implementation at a cost of 121 million pounds sterling or the equivalent of Rp. 2.3 trillion.
These costs do not include insurance payments of EUR 35 million.
