New Covid-19 cases in India fell below 1.3 lakh for the first time since Jan. 7 even as the Omicron variant spread.
The nation reported as many as 1.27 lakh fresh coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update on Feb. 5. The nation’s weekly positivity rate, a PIB release said, stands at 11.21%, while the daily positivity rate jumps falls below 10%, is at 7.98%.
The Omicron tally is not updated on the government’s PIB website.
