This vital partnership will help thousands of job seekers gain skills to prepare for a career change.
While many social media marketing roles require technical training previously acquired through advanced study programs, Facebook Elevate, along with Courser, a global leader in online learning, has launched a five-course program designed for students with no previous industry experience to gain social marketing networks. Professional certificate. This self-paced online program is designed to be completed within 20 weeks and includes 100 hours of project-based hands-on training. Upon completion of the program, students will receive an industry-recognized certificate that can be used to apply for initial roles in social media marketing.
This revolutionary new training is designed to increase diversity and remove barriers to entry into this rapidly growing field of work. Facebook Elevate is funded by Goodwill, North America a leading workforce provider, for the distribution of 6,000 scholarships, covering the full cost of the training program. As part of Facebook Elevate’s commitment to diversity, the grant will enable Goodwill to offer holistic support to black students, providing eligible participants with services including career planning, resume writing, and other support as needed.
