According to the latest research by Wpromote and Ascend2, B2B marketers stated that creating effective content and collecting high-quality data are the two biggest challenges they face when trying to execute lead generation strategies.
The report is based on data from a survey of 258 B2B marketing professionals in the United States in May 2021.
Approximately 45% of B2B marketers stated that it is difficult to create engaging/targeted content through lead generation, and 43% stated that collecting quality data is difficult to execute.
About 60% of B2B marketers stated that their lead generation challenges caused them to waste time/resources, while 59% of them stated that they would lead to missed revenue opportunities.
B2B marketers say that the biggest frustration for salespeople in lead generation activities is insufficient data and poor lead quality.
