Major General Ali Ghanem, director of the Al Muraqqabat Police Station, said the campaign launched by the center over the past year aims to monitor road safety, reduce deaths, protect property and road users’ safety and prevent traffic violations. especially those related to the application of excesses and additions to the vehicle’s engine, which are a source of noise, performing showmanship, driving recklessly, not having a driver’s license, and wiping a car’s license plate, noting that the most prominent bicycle offenses are riding bicycles in places and roads not intended for them, and failure by their drivers to comply with special safety requirements such as wearing a helmet and phosphor jacket, and other requirements that ensure the safety of users, and the necessary legal measures have been taken against offenders.

Major General Ali Ghanem called on car and motorcyclists, especially young drivers, to limit the negative behavior of some with noise and disturbance from their vehicles by making adjustments to them to amplify their sound, and to operate the recording device with loud noises to attract attention and show off, in violation of the traffic law. .

He pointed out that the General Command of the Dubai Police Force has carried out several traffic campaigns for members of society, in order to raise awareness of the dangers of supplies, especially for the youth category, and emphasized that road safety is a duty and responsibility everyone without exception is shared, and therefore the efforts of all walks of life must be combined, and the need to adhere to positive behavior and be accountable through their commitment to traffic law.
