The luxury craft that Kevin O’LearyWife crashed into her boat and suffered significant damage … and TMZ was given photos showing the brutal aftermath of the impact.
You can see the Super Air Nautique – which had 12 passengers on the night of the crash – sustained damage to the nose along with extensive cracks and tiled paint … there is also a haunted image of blood on one of the boat’s seats.
The photos from the criminal case make it clear where the ships contacted – and the cobalt boat, powered by the “Shark Tank” star’s wife, Linda O’Leary, was also hard hit.
In fact, some parts of O’Leary’s boat were later found on the Nautique. That said … a marine mechanic testified in court that while Nautique had a “reasonable injury”, he expected more considering what he had originally heard about the accident.
The trial is set to end later this week … and Kevin is expected to testify on Wednesday via Zoom from Los Angeles. Linda pleaded not guilty carless operation of a ship … in other words, to drive too fast. The master of the other boat was quoted as operating his boat at night without navigation lights.
As we reported … Linda reportedly had splashing on her breath after the fatal boating accident. But according to legal documents and obtained by CBC News, police say Kevin’s wife told them she drank vodka AFTER the crash and BEFORE police administered an alcohol test.
However, police believe she ingested the alcohol before the crash. In any case, the family is one of two people killed in the crash of a Canadian lake filed a civil lawsuit against O’Leary’s.
The military dollar case alleges that Kevin and Linda were unable to safely operate the boat because their sentence was reduced by alcohol, drugs or fatigue.
