MUSLIMS | NAKIBINGE | EID
KIBULI- Prince Kassim Nakibinge Kakungulu, the titular head of Muslims in the country, has praised Attorney General Kiryowa Kiwanuka for securing a trophy for express football club.
Nakibinge, also a staunch supporter of express, noted that if it were not for Kiryowa’s good leadership, express could not have won the Ugandan Premier League trophy this year.
“Our team had spent some good years without winning a trophy and I thank Kiryowa for the work done,” said Nakibinge.
Nakibinge made the comments Tuesday shortly after Idd Adhuha’s prayer at his home in Kibuli.
Express was declared champion of the 2020/21 Ugandan Premier League following a decision by the FUFA Emergency Executive Committee in June this year.
This was after the government imposed a 42-day lockdown as a precaution against the COPVID-19 pandemic.
