Yeah, look, frankly, I think the vaccine rollout has let us down…
I feel like we were on top of it here in Australia and we’re on top of the community transmission and then there was a delay in vaccination.
Although the numbers are higher in some vulnerable groups, the total is not enough. We need people to vaxx and we need a federal government to increase the supply.
We reach over 300,000 a week in New South Wales. Demand exceeds supply. It is a real problem for the federal government. They promised more.
Hopefully by the end of the week the promises will come true, but it’s a reminder to Australians that we can’t be complacent and even for the regions, in regional and rural New South Wales, where vaccination rates are lower. It’s a reminder to people that we didn’t beat Covid, it’s time to get the shot.
