Boston Red Sox Toronto Blue Jays Linuep: Jarren Duran moves up to two holes while Alex Verdugo moves down

Something I was looking forward to with Jarren Duran’s call was the flexibility he would give the roster in defense. Part of the charm of having a guy like Enrique Hern├índez on your team is that he can play anywhere, but with the way the roster has shaped, he has not been free to roam around the diamond. Having a guy like Duran who could bump into him from the middle, which would have cascading effects that would lead to more rest for guys like Verdugo, Renfroe, Arroyo and Dalbec. We got a preview of this last night with Arroyo bumping Dalbec first, but Arroyo tried his best Ji-Man Choi impression last night and strained his left hamstring and ends at 10-day IL. Danny Santana was activated in the corresponding move.

But alas, we are back to our rather stagnant defense for now. However, the line-up looks different. It’s not quite the order Matt presented earlier today, but it’s really “shaking up”.
