A website that allows you to perform online HTML editing reportedly received manual manipulation of unnatural links. So what the website owner did was to post a notice to his user base in a big box saying “goodbye” that the site “has been punished for unnatural link building and it will soon be removed from Google search” .
It’s like website owners feel that they have received an eviction notice and feel the need to post the notice on their own website. But the site does not have to publish this content, and the site is not technically removed from Google search, I mean, it’s Still indexed. But it issued this notice:
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a website issue such a notice to their users. If Google punishes them, the website will disappear.
I’m not sure if this is some kind of link building strategy 🙂 or something, but it is interesting.
